Ransomed by God

"Fear not, for I have redeemed you [ransomed you by paying a price instead of leaving you captives]; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you." Isaiah 43:1b-2 [Amplified]

Blessed at Christmas

I love Christmas. I particularly love walking through the lights drinking Starbucks, opening stockings early in the morning, and the smell of a real Christmas tree. (Side note, we will be leaving our tree up all month and I don't care what anyone says.) =)

Lately things have been very tight financially with some big bills, buying a new house, and changing jobs. During that time there were a number of things Derek and I were each wanting / needing but were waiting because of finances.

Then...
God dropped a grace bomb on us!

Over Christmas we received the very things we were wanting/needing as Christmas gifts! God provided through believers and non-Christians alike. It was amazing! God wants us to trust him - He knows our needs and all things are His. We need just to go to our loving Father and ask. Go to Him because He is always good and NEVER disappoints. =)
